My school is piloting a Resource Room program for the Indianapolis Public Schools district. With it being a new program, and especially as new teacher, I need to stock my classroom library with books and materials that will reach the biggest needs of the students on my caseload: social skills, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and mindfulness. I have found fun, silly, interactive, and relatable children's books are the most authentic means of this sort of instruction. Please help me fill my shelves with authentic, engaging literature and materials that will help my high-need kiddos learn, grow, and thrive in their classrooms, among their peers, and beyond!
