Collecting physics data can be cumbersome but with Pasco's new wireless Smart Carts gathering kinematics data is a breeze. Students can easily analyze their data with the SparkVue software (already licensed to our schoo) that connects to the Smart Carts. Students can reinforce concepts about velocity and acceleration using the Smart Carts. By placing the carts on an inclined track, students can measure the acceleration due to gravity. Data collection for Newton's Second Law experiments is also easily collected and analyzed in multiple ways since the carts have an internal force sensor.
