Blocks are an integral part of my classroom. Students build simple towers or complicated structures. They can enter this learning tool at their level. The blocks in my classroom are currently stored on a "flea market" find! This shelf has lasted three years, but has started to break due to constant use. A new, sturdy block cabinet will provide shelves to organize blocks and make the center even more inviting. A shelving unit with casters will also aid in clean-up. Additional blocks will allow more children to build and interact, creating a great learning environment. Creating a hands-on, interactive classroom is my priority.
