Many teachers fund their own classroom materials, as a first year teacher this can be a big undertaking. My philosophy of education includes wanting to give my students access to literature that is representative of the world they live in. My goal is for each one of my students to be represented in the books we have in the classroom library. With this fundraiser, I hope to provide texts to my students that promote equality and kindness. These books will help prompt conversations centered around empathy, kindness, and embracing diversity. Help my little learners feel empowered to have a voice!

About my class
