The materials that will be donated will go directly to my students for the 2020-2021 school year. All of the supplies will help give the students the chance to have the proper materials to be successful. In the past some students would have some supplies and others would not and receiving these basic supplies will help all students succeed and feel that they are in an equal learning environment. Student success rate is not measured by the supplies they have but having the proper materials will create an environment for higher success. Having these supplies will enable my students to have proper writing journals were all their writing can be located in one place. In my class we write alot; we write about be our day, responses to books we have read, sight word sentences, and letters to others. We use dry erase markers and boards daily for math, phonics, and sentence building the dry erase boards will allow the students to work on the carpet close to the board where I am teaching from. Having baskets avliable for each student with dry erase markers and eraser quickly accessable will help cut down on wasted learning time passing out supplies. My students use lots of pencils to complete their writing activities and other activities throughout the day.
