Fifth grade is an important time in a reader's life. The kids need to be reading and experiencing books as much as possible. As I've moved to this new grade, many of my primary grade books are just not enough for fifth grade readers. I want them to SWIM in books! I want to help my students LOVE reading! Having a huge collection in the classroom will let my students explore new books and ALWAYS be reading! Kids will be able to use books in class and at home as they learn to love reading.
