I am requesting a rug to be used for seating in my music room. A rug can replace chairs and create an open environment to move and play music. I think that in elementary music movement is a key component to feeling the beat, which is an essential skill. The rug will be used for classroom management purposes of organizing students into small groups by color. It's an easy and effective way to get students organized into a game or a circle. We will be starting in the late fall with half of the students back to school. The rug can also help create socially distant seating assignments to keep the student safe.
