This project is two-fold: to provide additional music learning opportunities to students outside of the traditional band and choir ensemble model; and to provide flexible seating options for students in both settings. We anticipate using the ukekeles as another music learning tool during the school day. In addition, we can use these to accompany the choir, solos, and small ensembles. The yoga ball chairs have been shown to help students improve posture and breathing techniques while singing! Once these projects show success, we hope to expand to include options for music technology, drum circles, and perhaps a piano lab.
