Many students were not moving during the covid-19 time. Most were using their technical devices to a harmful effect that we are now seeing within the classroom, namely: Not having the ability to sit, focus, attend, listen, speak, and feeling the sense of always being tired. More illness occurs when they were not moving, exercising, and enjoying their mental alertness. Children NEED to move. It is a proven and data-supported fact! The children are able to focus and learn when they have had the opportunity to use their gross motor muscles and have a brain break and achieve age-level motor skills. They are socially engaged as they have to work together with throwing, catching, and mirror images. The JOY is immense as we see the happiness and smiles from exercise and healthy moving.
