The materials for my students will allow them to gain the necessary skills needed to become early readers. I need your help building on what we are doing on a daily basis. Students are learning sounds, letter naming, rhyming, blending words, onset fluency, and segmenting. Most of the materials will be used during small group times so students have opportunities to focus more on their specific abilities. These small group times will help me assess where students and what they need to build on their skills. As students gain mastery in areas, we can reinforce skills during large group literacy games and activities.
