My students do not all have access to laptops, tablets or computers at home to learn skills that we take for granted. Who doesn't use technology in their daily lives, home, work AND school, now a days? Not just clicking around on a game or app, but actually learning how to log in and complete school work is not being taught across the board. This is leading to inequalities not only on a normal basis, but during unprecedented times such as this global pandemic. Students and parents alike are struggling to connect with their schools/teachers and are missing out on learning opportunities because they lack fundamental technology skills and know-how. I want to use these resources to train students and parents alike on programs that are necessary for not only for distance learning but their lives in this technological world in general. Should distance learning continue or reoccur in the future, families need the training and skills to succeed.
