Digital cameras will make the Photography 1 class become a reality. The cameras are an important and vital aspect on running the class. This class will not only give students access to another art form but will also let students have a voice for them to tell the world what is important and give us a glimpse into their world through the lens of a camera. Photographs are our personal story, a timeline of our lives, and a way to capture our lives that will leave a legacy for future generations. Students access to these digital cameras and the creation of the Photography class will allow students another positive outlet to share and communicate. My hope is that photography will move students to analyze the world around them, to interact with the general public, and to explore their neighborhoods and new ones. It allows us to tell a story while framing the world around us.
