This will be my first year teaching. There are so many different supplies that are needed to create a classroom to meet the needs of all students. The furniture pieces will help to organize our classroom and make it a welcoming learning environment for my students. Providing students with flexible seating will allow the students to have a choice in the classroom. It is important for the students to be engaged throughout the lessons. By providing students with these manipulatives, the students will be more engaged and able to display their thinking. Students learn these math concepts so differently and it is important to provide students with these manipulatives to have these hands-on opportunities. Since I am a first-year teacher, I am beginning my classroom from scratch. I want to provide students with the best learning environment!
