The use of technology in our classroom will open up more learning opportunities for the students. There are many technologies online for use in Science and Social Studies. We will be able to use technology such as Stemscopes for Science. Stemscopes explains the concepts and ideas of the subject matter through Connection videos, vocabulary, testing and deeper understanding of the subject matter. This technology alone would open up Science to these students like never before. It will also allow me to individualize the lessons for each student and in making modifications or adaptations needed for both my disabled and gifted students.
