Remote learning is different from being in our first grade classroom together. We all miss each other, students, and teachers, and they miss the special learning that comes from being together. They are also on screens so much! I would like to supply them with some non-screen activities that they had from our classroom: an in-home STEAM CENTER where they can use LEGO to build items for our weekly STEAM Challenges. They can do this during this time, and then over the summer. I have picked out a few LEGO Sets that my students would enjoy using for our remote learning STEAM Challenges that they can do from home. Many students have told me that they miss our STEAM CENTER the most, and many do not have Lego's to use as they did in my classroom.
