Distance learning makes it more difficult to engage students in education, especially those who experience mental health problems. While at home, it is more difficult for educators to engage students in learning. We need to be creative (send letters, invite to play games, make services exciting) in order to meet the needs of children who struggle to engage in the classroom regularly. My alternative school strives to make sure our students from difficult backgrounds get the support they need to graduate. These supplies will help to engage students, allow them to learn social-emotional skills, and have a better chance to graduate.

About my class
