My class of sixth graders will use all these materials to engineer and create amazing STEM projects and activities. Some of the projects include making towers that will withstand high wind speeds, a building that will withstand fault movement, bridges that can hold weight, a boat that can float and withstand weight, and so many others. These kids use their knowledge in science, math, and technology to use many different type of consumables to create these hands-on, STEM projects. These students develop life skills while engineering these projects in class. They learn to work with others, and that mistakes happen and how to correct them. This is an important class for sixth graders.
