Our students are special education elementary students who have started a school newspaper to develop their written and verbal communication skills. They have been writing, editing and producing our first ever school newspaper since 2019. They have covered school events, district events and even covered COVID-19 story with a special edition in February 2020 to help inform our school community. Recorders and headsets will allow them to interview and then voice type their articles. Reporter notebooks and badges will let them experience the excitement of being a reporter. All of these supplies will help them continue to produce the paper which has become a big hit with our entire school!

About my class
