Providing students with a strong foundation in reading and math begins in the classroom with activities for students to work, learn, communicate and collaborate with each other. These math and reading manipulatives will help students grow through hands-on experiences. It will help them to think differently by solving problems in different ways while working and collaborating with their classmates. These tools will become a powerful addition to closing deficiencies and solidifying reading and math skills to increase student learning throughout the year. I want to help build students’ confidence by giving them a way to test and confirm their reasoning.
