Center time is a daily activity in our room. The students love to write, draw, cut, glue, and create their own masterpieces! I will be a third year teacher in the fall and I'm building my classroom as I am able to. I want to offer my students an area for creativity. At this age, 5-6, students thrive to show their ability through expression in art. With this art/writing table, students will be able to express themselves with writing, tracing, drawing and creating their own work. This table is designed for four students and it has designated areas for supplies. This will be one unit with many possibilities for the classroom students.
