Putting science manipulatives into the hands of my students provides opportunities for exploration and investigation. Not only will these items allow playful experiences, my students can take ownership of their learning. Students will be able to explore a human skeleton, or investigate with magnets. They will come to understand the concept of the planets by manipulating a real life solar system model. Access to these particular items levels the playing field in an educational system that can often leave them behind. My classroom needs your support to make this happen.
