I am requesting manipulatives I will be able to use on camera and that I can send to students at home. My students are better able to understand concepts when they become tangible. These teaching aids are designed for many different academic levels and help will all my students in math visualize and understand key concepts. The classroom math kit I am requesting will encourage my students to examine and learn about units of measurement with items including a Digital Scale, Stacking Weights, Graduated Cylinders, Liquid Measure Set, Folding Meter Stick, Color Tiles and Liter Cube. Volume is a challenging concept for most students to learn, seeing objects will help them to understand the difference between volume and area.
