My intention is to provide my students with an environment where our classroom is an extension of their home. Where they feel safe, accepted, and loved. Ideally, the classroom is a place that supports their social-emotional needs, therefore, a place where they can learn, explore, and engage in their learning as active participants. I believe furnishing my classroom to support mindfulness, adding to our classroom library, and providing my students with opportunities to explore and create freely in math, science, and art is of the utmost importance. Supplies that will foster their creativity while still meeting their academic and emotional needs.
