My students need printers to help with assignments that require writing. Remote learning is the mode that we are employing to teach students due to the Corona Virus. My kindergarten children are getting way too much screen time. Fine motor development is crucial and our students are were just learning to write. It is my belief that teachers are doing our best to give students information that supports the Next Generation Learning Standards but our students need to write. I would love for my children to be able to print assignments such as small books to support Reading on their personal reading levels. My students live in one of the most disadvantaged areas on Staten Island; New Brighton. These printers will help me to ensure that I have another avenue to support them in lifting their level of learning. The children and families of P.S.31R will greatly appreciate your efforts to support them. Thank you
