These materials will supplement other STEM items for student use. Students may be inspired by teacher-directed STEM challenges, or be allowed "free choice" time to create. The caddies and magazine file boxes are essential tools to keep students' books, sketches, and writing projects about their creations organized. This integrated approach is a great way to honor using instructional time for "hands-on" activities - time that is sometimes compromised to focus solely on literacy and math skills. It is important to preserve time in the school week to provide a well-rounded education. The stools offer flexible seating options for students to partner at creation tables throughout the room.
