My plan for this project is to give our students different strategies that will allow them to help self-regulate behaviors and emotions. The materials asked for such as the games, moon sand, building blocks and timers will help students to work through classroom social and emotional circuits. This will allow them to have a cool down period to reflect and then think of ways to successfully re-enter the classroom. Students will come to a safe space to learn skills and strategies that over time they will be able to independently utilized in their classroom environments.
