The document camera will allow me to share objects and other resources to compliment my read alouds. It will allow me to add that personal touch that eBooks and audio books just can't provide. My students need that personal touch to help them foster a life long love of reading and make it fun for them. Books like The Hungry Caterpillar hold so much more meaning for younger students when are accompanied by say a live caterpillar! They can make personal connections to stories to them. The document camera will also allow me to use story telling props.
