My students are first graders who attend a school that is only in it's third year in a crowded district. The area is also a low socio-economic area with low parental involvement. However, we are working on pulling our parents in by giving them tips on how to better work with their child to best help them achieve success. While they have really only begun to read and write with understanding, I hope to show them just how exciting and worthwhile learning thse skills can be. They love to learn EVERYTHING and are always excited by something new.

About my class
