It has been proven that providing choice and promoting individuality in learning creates a successful environment for all. During reading workshop or other individual and partner group times, the children often choose where they would like to do so. When students have choices and are comfortable, they are more engaged in their learning and there is less disruption within the classroom. The products that I have chosen provide a wide variety of seating and choices that are sure to meet all student needs. These items can fit in many places throughout our classroom. The softer cushions and bean bag provide comfort for floor seating and the play house cube provides a little bit of seclusion for those students that are easily distracted.
