I am asking for support in providing basic materials (markers, colored pencils, crayons, and glue) to help my students have a secondary set of supplies for my classroom to prevent the spread of germs between classroom environments.
Several of our families may face financial hardships at this time, and so asking them to provide two sets of materials is difficult-- however I would like to keep myself, paraprofessional staff, and students safe, which is why I'm asking for your support.
These hands-on learning materials and the books (described below) targeting skills really help our learners on the Autism Spectrum and could help the student and their families navigate the challenging times we face.
I'm also asking for support in expanding my literature to include more culturally diverse books as well as health books to explain new habits we need to stay safe during COVID-- all skills and understandings they can use and adapt throughout life settings. Finally, I found a new top-rated game I would like to use to support my student's cognitive behavioral abilities.
Thank you for considering!
