The materials we are requesting are based on a continuum of learning through the NGSS standards and engineering practices kindergarten through 5th grade. The use of these materials will allow all students access, through their STEAM lab, to concepts like forces, engineering design, structure, function, and information processing, energy, and more. Students will learn about basic and complex science and engineering concepts through hands-on, real-world projects that will help them to build lifelong skills. Projects will encourage parent and community involvement and support, as we open it to the entire school during the year and special community nights.
