Please help me give my students a K1 experience they will never forget and allow them to continue learning from home effectively during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has hit Boston, Massachusetts pretty hard and many families are looking for additional resources to keep their children learning throughout this challenging time, often without the proper resources or technology. My students need materials in order to continue their learning and to be ready for kindergarten in the fall, without being behind. This is many students' first school experience I want them to feel supported and loved so they can be successful in the years to come. My students need access to books and workbooks in order to continue learning remotely. Many students do not regularly have access to technology; therefore, having access to printed learning materials are extremely important. I will be mailing these materials to students and their families with cards telling them about how much we miss them and celebrating their moving up to kindergarten. I know this will excite my students and make all the difference in the coming weeks :)
