This coming school year will be my first year teaching and I am super excited to be teaching third grade! I have talked to several teachers about what has helped them and their students stay organized. Student mailboxes was number one. The 36 compartment literature organizer will be used as mailboxes for my students. The second item mentioned by teachers were book bins. These will be used to store their notebooks, folders, and literature books. The other things that I am requesting are to help save paper or are basic classroom supplies like crayons. Our school does not ask students to bring their own supplies. As teachers, we have to find ways of funding our classroom supplies. These items are what veteran teachers say will help me stay organized and supplied for the upcoming school year.
Staying organized is a key element to maximizing your instructional time. By teaching my students where to keep their supplies, we will not be wasting instructional time looking for missing folders, papers, or books. Please help me start the year off right by being organized and ready to teach.
