The materials that I am requesting will be used to help my students stay on track and motivated to learn during our 1 hour literacy center block. The bingo games will help increase fluency and build motivation for students who are still mastering their letter names, sight words, and rhyming skills. The sight word games will help students master their weekly sight words in a tangible and fun way. The magnetic letters will help my students make, manipulate, and substitute sounds they hear in words. These letters will be crucial in helping my kindergarten students see patterns in words, understand letter-sound correspondence, and recognize that words are made up of letter sounds.
