Our school has a limited selection of guided reading books that all teachers must share. With our own classroom set of guided reading materials my students will not only be able to grow their reading brains with me, utilizing exciting reading material, but will also be able to take the books home each night to read to their families. Recognizing that parental involvement is intrinsically tied to student learning and motivation, the donations made to this project will not only promote literacy for my classroom, it will open many doors for students to have success now and in the future.

About my class
