I've been teaching 3rd grade for the past 18 years and have had some of the best behaved, hardest working, funniest, nicest, brightest, most caring, and all those students in between. They have all helped me grow to become the teacher that I am today—and I thank them every day for that. I love what I do and want my teaching to continue to be compassionate, creative, patient, cooperative, responsible, motivated, and happy during this challenging teaching environment! I want to create magic in my classroom! I'm looking for not just professional development, but an educational EXPERIENCE! My class and I have adjusted to this new way of learning since our school has closed in mid-March. We have e-learned together and attempted to maneuver all of the technology hiccups along the way. Attending the GYTO conference will allow me to bring more enthusiasm, interactive creativity, and increased technology skills to the virtual classroom. I want to be inspired, motivated, and empowered as I head back to my classroom after our recent lockdown situation.
