At GPA, our students are lucky enough to have a facility that is clean, welcoming, and professional. However, due to budget constraints, our students regularly miss out on opportunities to use technology such as graphing calculators, including many times having to take standardized tests without them. This puts our student body at a severe disadvantage compared to students in wealthier communities, which deprives them of the chance to reach their maximum educational potential. We are helping close the education gap that exists, and is so pronounced in Connecticut, by supplying our students with the technology need to thrive in a digital world. Graphing calculators are no longer a luxury, but a necessity to be successful in secondary and post secondary education in America. I hope you'll help our students catch up to those who have not had these struggles.
