With the uncertainty of extended closures next year due to Covid-19, I want my students to have access to flexible, easy to use resources. My fourth grade readers would enjoy learning about current events in a kid-friendly format. These magazines provide fun, non-fiction information at appropriate text levels. With Scholastic News, interactive videos, games, and questions are provided to the teacher as part of the resource to aid student comprehension. They are aligned to standards and have many features to include all learners such as exceptional education and Spanish speaking students. Scholastic Magazines provide both printed and digital materials. These are extremely useful in the classroom or virtual learning. Having valuable reading material such as these magazines readily available in our classroom provides students with amazing reading opportunities at a moments notice.
