Every day we work on three skills independently, reading, writing, and phonics. By having these portable desks, the kindergartners will be able to find a good working space where ever they feel comfortable to work on their writing. If they need help, they could be close to the word wall or my guided reading table. If they are more independent, they can find a quiet area away from others so they can concentrate on what they want to write. These tables will give the kids a comfortable, yet hard surface in which they will be able to write amazing stories!
