I have students in my senior AP Literature and Composition classes who regularly ask to check out books from our classroom library, although we have a wonderful media center in our school. With over twenty years of experience in the classroom, I have managed to accumulate a small, but impressive collection of classic and modern titles. Our school cannot accommodate every teacher's request for class sets of texts, so I am sometimes forced to ask students to purchase a novel or to volunteer to purchase a novel when our class sets have decreased. Your contribution to our reading collection will enable AP students to effectively hold smaller, more meaningful book clubs, Socratic Seminar discussions, and writing workshops during the school year.
