Trail cameras are a pivotal tool used to monitor wildlife populations. It allows a biologist to understand how healthy their wildlife populations are such as deer, turkey, and bear. These cameras will be used for many projects throughout the year to monitor certain areas and understand wildlife animal behavior. Hands-on learning is at the center of agricultural education and with these cameras it will allow students to be in the field learning the ends and outs to wildlife behavior. Trail cameras allow students to study animal diets, habitat, prime activity time, and various other behavioral traits. Having these skills for a aspiring wildlife biologist can set students up for a successful career. I hope you allow me to give them the opportunity to succeed in my classroom.
