My students are exploring different ways to be effective creative communicators and collaborators in a digital way. This is why we are exploring stop motions as a tool for expression. The Lego people will help with this project because it would allow my students to choose from a variety of different characters as their actors in their film and help them explore different voices when channeling the variety of people included in this kit. My goal for this project is not only for them to gain the technical skills needed to build this sort of project, but also to gain the skill to manage a project this big of a scale. They are also learning the Scrum framework used in the software development world that helps teams work together in an effective way because it helps them plan, distribute the work equally, self-organize and reflect on their progress.
