A new iPad will assist me and students tremendously. I have nonverbal and minimally verbal students on my caseload who use assistive technology through various software programs, such as LAMP WFL and TouchChat HD. Having an iPad will allow me to mirror the AT apps onto our Google Meet platform in real time during our TeleTherapy Sessions, which will allow for my students to both learn and achieve their goals successfully. The software apps that they use are only compatible with the latest iOS. The iPad that I am currently using from my job is only compatible with iOS 9 and under. Unfortunately, there is no room in the budget or funding available for staff to receive new tech devices, so your funding will help me to serve my students as best as I can, especially during this COVID-19 season. Additionally, I have early learners who, after conversations with parents, do not have access to educational books and toys. Thankfully I already have board books at home from Project Cicero 2020 that I am planning on sending out, However, I would like to send a care package with a small supplemental resources as you see listed here. Any donation, no matter how small, will greatly impact the lives of these children and their families. Thank you in advance, God Bless <3
