Math manipulatives will make learning math interesting and enjoyable for my students. The whiteboards, erasers, markers, and counters will help students stay engaged and organized to participate using these hands on materials. The resources will give me the opportunity to create fun and engaging small group lessons while students participate in center activities using the manipulatives. We need to help children develop the ability and confidence to find their way around in each of these areas, see how they connect, and know what to do should they forget a fact or procedure.These manipulatives will intrigue and motivate my students to become more independent learners. The manipulatives will build students' confidence and help them to stay engaged in the lessons. If students have physical evidence of how their thinking works, their understanding becomes more robust.
