As I stated earlier, my students love using technology. They are learning how to use google classroom and love listening to books, especially the books they have recorded on the computer. I am keeping connections with all of my families during the shelter-in-place and many households have several students. Our school has limited devices and is only giving out 1 per household. My 3rd graders most of the time being the youngest are missing out on a chance to learn and connect at times when face to face learning is taking place because an older sibling is given priority. My students are learning at different levels so, with these items, each child will get the chance to use them to help support their learning. These items will be used by them to help them reach new levels of learning. Any donations I receive for this project will encourage my students to use technology not for just games, but for making projects, checking emails and making presentations. I would like to get Chromebooks to my students as soon as possible, yet if not now. I have and will continue to maintain contact with all my students. I want to start the new year with a solid foundation.
