I want to provide my students with a well-stocked library that motivates them to read and learn. The books I have chosen are a combination of fiction classics and non-fiction titles that focus on science and social studies content. I have always enjoyed reading and want to instill and support this development in my students with a variety of reading material. In our current climate, science and social studies take a back seat to reading and math. While I understand the importance of these areas, I also believe that we should ignore the value of science and social studies, which is why I want to make sure my students have the opportunity to explore these topics on their own.
