Our district has decided to begin the year remotely. Meeting my kindergarteners for the first time is definitely a different way to start our year. The first 9 weeks is imperative building relationships, as for most of them this is their first time in school. New backpacks, lunch boxes, getting your cubby and seat is part of the excitement when starting school. When I think about all of the things we do to get to know each other, I wonder if it will be the same this year. Students having new supplies delivered by their teacher before school begins will allow me the opportunity to visit and meet families. These materials would give me the opportunity to bring some excitement to my kindergarteners to start off our year. I can give them the materials necessary to have a fresh start to a new year. My kids are so important! We need to build a relationship in order to continue to support their time at Campus International. The students, families, and I would love and appreciate the supplies to make that possible.
