All of these materials will better equip my students to master the standards we work on. Learning fractions will be a lot more fun and engaging using their own boards with number lines on them already! Place value will be learned in a concrete way, using base 10 blocks. It is going to seem like playing a game to them, but in reality, they will be mastering adding/subtracting using place value. My students will be begging to compose/decompose numbers using the base 10 blocks. The reading materials will ensure that my students will become great readers and enjoy reading. I want to see all my students read for pleasure and not just because they have to. These materials will help my students master the skills of fluency and comprehension. These tools will help my students achieve the confidence they need to succeed in all they do. My students will see learning as fun and will want to keep learning. There will be no stopping them. I want all of my students to have the necessary tools to be successful. Some need the extra push, and all of these materials will help with that. I want them to believe in themselves like I do.
