The iPads that I am requesting, for my students, will provide multiple benefits. Some of my students have emotional needs in addition to the educational needs. The iPads can be used for educational purposes as well as a way to decompress and alleviate stress. These iPads will be used for differentiated, individualized instruction. There are so many wonderful aps available. Students can work on letter and number recognition, they can learn the correct ways to make letters through the use of tracing aps, they can practice sight words and math fact fluency just to name a few. In addition they can have some down time and listen to a story or watch a short video to unwind.
