The math materials will help my students develop a concrete understanding of some really important foundational math skills. These skills include: place value, fractions on a number-line, and geometric shapes. The reading materials will help my students practice some foundational reading skills in a fun way. These skills include: decoding words, tracking the print, and reading comprehension. These hands-on materials will help my students develop a love of math and reading in a fun way! The will be having so much fun, they won't even see it as work. These materials will also allow these students to work in group developing their socio-emotional skills as well. Learning to agree/disagree respectfully is a lifelong skill!
